Why are some of your shirts priced high?

All the t-shirts are made, manufactured and printed in the USA, which costs a bit more. Everything is limited edition and collectible. Making t-shirts limited means we do not mass produce our shirts, which allows prices to rise. This is a home grown business, not a corporation.

Why are your t-shirts limited edition?

Everyone likes what no one else has. You don't want to walk down the street and see half a dozen people wearing the same shirt you have on. A lot of people are willing to pay a premium for a non-mass produced shirt. Plus it adds a whole other feel and makes it more than just a t-shirt line. It's collectible, limited wearable art.

Did you go to college for this?

Nope. I went to college for a few weeks for music stuff, and then dropped out.

Although, I have given lectures at a few different art & business colleges...

Do you have any investors?

No way Jose'. I started this from the trunk of my beat up 89? Toyota Camry & made it this far. I'm not about to sell any part of my company to any investors or major chain stores.

Why the cupcake and crossbones?

In the beginning, when I made a few shirts as a joke, I would poke fun at pop culture icons. The skull and crossbones was a popular icon and I thought it would be funny to replace the skull with a cupcake. So I did.

What's next?

Ties. Sneakers. Hand bags. More Jewelry. More Collaborations. Cartoons. House wares. And lots more! Like I mentioned before, I started this as a complete joke. So I'm just having fun with everything.

Do you still do Cupperwear Parties?

Nope. Not for now. I might devise a new way to have them held in our Boston location at a chosen time and date(s). I never planned on being this busy before. Once I devise the new Cupperwear party plan, it will be listed on the web site. Check back on our site in the future. Do not e-mail us about them.

Do you plan on opening any other shops?

Yes. I'd like to open a shop in California and in London. Japan some day... But I can see opening something in Cali when the right place is available. I've had nightmares here and there about earthquakes. So if this does go to the west coast or anything, don't be surprised if you see me rocking a cupcake bike helmet.

Do you guys sell cupcakes?
